BBL Hero PhotoFacial

What you need to know:

What is it?
The Sciton BBL photofacial is a non-invasive procedure that delivers light energy to the skin. This energy penetrates the surface layers and targets specific chromophores (pigment or blood vessels) without damaging surrounding tissue. The treatment can be customized to address individual skin concerns, making it suitable for a wide range of skin types and conditions like sun damage, hyperpigmentation, redness, rosacea and broken blood vessels.
Typical treatment areas include the face, neck, chest, arms and hands.
Does it hurt?
We think the pain is minimal to mild. The laser has a cooling plate that glides across the skin as the treatment is in progress which diminishes discomfort.
How long do results last?
The best results from BBL come from an initial series of 3 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart. Maintenance sessions should be done yearly for lasting results.  This treatment is best suited in the Fall and Winter Seasons when there is no sun exposure before or after the treatment.
What's the downtime?
The downtime after a BBL includes redness the day of the treatment and possibly mild swelling and a sunburn feel. Any pigmentation treated typically turns darker in color and may last 3-5 days.  Full recovery may take up to 1 week.
How long is the appointment?
30 - 60 minutes, depending on areas treated.

active acne breakouts, inflammatory acne and redness, acne scars and uneven skin texture, persistent or recurring acne not responding to other treatments.
What is it?
The Forever Clear Acne treatment involves a three-step process using different wavelengths of light to address various aspects of acne.
Blue Light (420 nm) - Bacteria Elimination: Blue light penetrates the skin and targets Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes), the bacteria responsible for acne. This light destroys the bacteria, reducing active breakouts and preventing new ones from forming.
Yellow Light (560 nm) - Reduction of Inflammation: Yellow light helps to reduce redness and inflammation associated with acne. It promotes healing and calms the skin, making it look and feel healthier.
Infrared Light (800-1400 nm) - Stimulation of Healing: Infrared light penetrates deeper into the skin, stimulating the body’s natural healing processes. This step enhances collagen production, improves skin texture, and reduces the appearance of acne scars.
